Rick does such a great job cutting hair. He is very thorough and takes his time to make sure he doesn’t miss anything. He is also incredibly knowledgeable about different products for shaving and hairstyle. Best haircut experience in Columbia.

I'm a student at USC and have been coming here for over a year, maybe close to two now. After a long time of bouncing around between Great Clips locations, I needed something better. So my roommate and I booked with Rick at Carolina Barbershop. When I was going to cheap haircut-factory places like Great Clips getting a haircut was a chore that I did because I had to. From our very first appointment at Carolina Barbershop getting a haircut became something my roommate and I look forward to. Rick and the rest of the guys are awesome to talk to and the vibe/atmosphere in the shop makes it feel like a REAL barbershop, not like the cold, corporate atmosphere of chain places. Just sitting there chatting with the barbers and other patrons is just as valuable as the haircut itself. The fact that all the barbers and patrons are also men makes it a nice atmosphere, it's hard to put into words but the fellas out there know what I'm talking about. The price of a haircut at Carolina Barbershop is a very reasonable one. But considering the quality of work done, the price becomes a shocking value in my opinion. Rick and the other barbers know their stuff and are highly skilled and professional. I have been more than satisfied every single time. It's worth noting that my girlfriend is also a big fan of the cuts I get at Carolina Barbershop. Long story short, I always leave looking fresher than a peach straight off the tree in July. Gentlemen, quit going to Great Clips and let Carolina Barbershop do you right.

Booked here because it is a very similiar price to the "chain" places. Rick was super nice and did an amazing job on my hair. The shop is in a quiet little shopping center near a restaurant. Also like the option to book online. Will be coming back

My favorite barber shop I’ve ever been too! I come to Carolina barber shop consistently, I am one of Jasmines regulars and she always does an excellent job.
